Gyahh I totally adore this drama, both Season One and Two :D
An accidental scan through the comments on the manga led me to this awesome discovery. A mere half-an-hour episode, and I was hooked! And it had to happen during one important exam Never really read the manga, just scanned through some parts of it.
Switch Girl is a live action drama adapted from the manga of the same title, although the plot is somewhat different. The ‘switch girl’, Nika was played by Nishiuchi Mariya, whom I think was perfect for the role. I just love her interesting, ever changing expressions! Next up: my favourite part of the drama: Arata-kun!! *temporarily switches to squealing fangirl mode* Kiriyama Ren, who played Arata, strangely resembles one of my favourite Japanese actors, Mizushima Hiro. Guess that’s why I am sort of attracted to him *cough cough* But I still find it hilarious how the drama always try to portray him as the super handsome high school boy.
If there is one thing that I would like to complain about the dramas, it’s that they are too short. There was only 8 episodes in each season. I wished there were 50 episodes, just like those Korean sitcoms. Oh well. Can I sincerely wish for a Season 3 then? I desperately need my dose of the wackiness and awesomeness of the drama :/
